Not even slightly, I don't really think the 8.0 or the 8.4 are worth putting any money into. They're a bit below a Dana 44 for strength and theyre a bigger pain to service. I'd rather swap another whole axle (they're a dime a dozen) in for a short time while I gather stuff to do the cruiser axle.

I think that’s the long range model.

    Model 3
Designed to attain the highest safety ratings in every category, Model 3 achieves 220 miles of range while starting at only $35,000 before incentives.

There’s also a federal tax incentive of a couple thousand dollars.

What’s wrong with electric? Haha. Never have to step in a gas station ever again.

We have solar too so it’s basically free at the end of the day.

Just have zero interest in it, it bores me. I hope more people get into them though, more gas for me.

I don't have a gas bill to cut anyway, its not an expense that I lament, I know some do and they worry and fret over how much MPG they get too. These are not concerns I ever have

I’ll let you know how it goes, placing the order for it when I get home.

Pre-ordered one. We paid a $1,000 “reservation” fee to Tesla about two years ago. This is the actual ordering the car and optioning it out.

Do they at least give you a lip service bill showing that the $1000 went toward the car?

I replaced my seatbelt because the webbing was all torn up and the latch itself was hard to pull out of the retractor.

I forgot I replaced it when I got in the truck, and instinctly pulled hard to get the seatbelt out. Unbeknownst to me the new one has a lot less resistance and I hit my leg pretty hard as a result.

    Typical Wednesday night.

I like me a combustion engine too. If you really wanna measure which one is more green. All one has to do is compare a lithium mine to an oil rig, then figure out what to do with all the materials in the batteries that arent recycled.

I wish my passenger side belt would retract on it's own. The drives side doesn't either but I just would like my roommate to stop bitching about it. It takes like half a fucking second to pull it back in but instead he whines to me about it.

Jealous, although my truck shouldn't go on a trip right now I'd still limp it up there if I could make it.

Bolt is the better value nowadays, the leaf is like a cheap economy car with less range possibility. But no matter what I always want to be driving something I can enjoy, I can't enjoy either, I don't do ecomonomy cars electric or not.

Lemme know what you turn up, I'll follow you on APRS.

I had to “feed” my driver’s seatbelt back into the retractor because it wouldn’t retract on its own either. I had to keep cutting the seatbelt every couple weeks because the fibers would prevent the buckle from sliding smoothly.

There came a point where I couldn’t stand that stupid seatbelt anymore so I just ordered a new one. $150 from Camelback, not bad.

Mine are weak, they'll eventually make it back in. The belt strap material is stiff with what is probably a mix of food and human slime. I'm gonna wash the belts one of these days. No rips though, never seen a belt ripped like yours.
