Fixed it and had a chance to drive on beach with new tires. Drives a lot better when on highway and a lot easier on the beach

Was just wondering if you did any trimming or taking out the splash guards to fit those 34s? And are those scs ray10s? If so that's the plan for my truck.

I just went with a 3 inch lift and added 285/70/17's and I think it actually feels better now as far as acceleration is concerned. I do not feel the shifting as much.

Quick off-topic question: With the small lift you have; did the oval running boards you have pictured in the 1st post seem to get in the way more then actually help you step into the truck? I'm doing the same lift and have the same boards...at stock height they just get in my way. I like the fact they may help prevent door dings but thinking about removing them. Thoughts?
    Thanks!

The are really not oval but do stick out some. I only use them to get out due to them sitting high and almost flush. I place my foot in the center of floor board and do a little boost and slide over to get in the truck. I do not like the look when they sit too low although it is better getting in. I am 5'7 and its not an issue getting in. I do not do any off road driving other than an occasional mountain trip. My plan is to get the power one that disappears when the truck is in park or moving. It is not cheap though.

there 1" lower then the door so not very useful, all they did was get in the way and they were covered in dirt/mud and would constantly get on my pants getting in or out

Honestly, with my 285/75/16 KO2, although they're not even a true 33" - they weigh 60lbs each and the truck is still very driveable IMO. Obviously acceleration and overall power loss, but ECT easily fixes that for me.

I wouldn't mod a lease with anything but removable bolt-ons.

    I personally wouldn't want to re-gear unless I went all-out on 35" tires.
