Looks like it maybe a place to check out... that also looks like a good place to find rocks for your home course!

Sooooo, tried finishing up 2.0 last night and ran into an issue... I have steering, but no throttle response. Lights don’t change color on the esc when I pull the trigger. Tried plugging the servo into the throttle control and get no feedback. Not sure if the RX is bad, or what? It worked last time I played with it, so not sure what would’ve happened..:rolleyes::rolleyes:

When my servo was going out, it would kinda turn but wouldn't go forward or back. Did you try plugging the ESC into the steering servo slot on the RX?

Nowhere if I can’t figure this out, lol. Called castle, they said to hook it up to castle link and make sure my trims are all set to linear. Will have to try it when I get home.

Hey gents I would like your opinion. I bought that arb bumper for $300. I would need to order the fit kit for $450 to make it work. I could sell it or return it, my original plan was to get a pelfrey/relentless on the 4th of July sale. Keep it and get the fit kit? Or sell it, spend $500-$600 more for a pretty piece of metal.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
will it fit on the 1st gen with the hardware or is it completely mismatched? if its a 2nd gen bumper i cant imagine what a fit kit is... its just like 6 studs on from the crash bar that it mounts to

Do you like the look of the ARB? It's a pretty different style from the other ones you're looking at. I am indifferent about the look of my bumper. It, too, was a cheap Craigslist deal. It's better than stock, but I'd still like to get a better looking one from Pelfrey/SOS/Relentless etc. But for $250, it's served me just fine. Surely, you could get your $750-800 out of the ARB (if not more) if you install and instantly hate it.

I know of one person from the local group that was looking for an ARB awhile back. Not sure if he ever got one. I'd tag him, but you have some dollar figures above and not sure what you'd be looking to sell it for. I dont want to sell you short if you want to profit a little

So the mounting bracket is different along with the fog lights, that's the main difference. It would take some welding to make it work from 2nd gen to 1st. but not 1st to 2nd from what I can gather.

Nah, ESC solid yellow should mean it’s armed. I think I had my wires backwards or something. I unplugged it all and started over last night and got it running. Prob gonna swing by WS in a little bit for a quick shakedown run, by myself, to see how she does.

    Interesting.
I've got a mamba x that blinks yellow and doesn't work. That one in my sct. I put a hobbywing in as a replacement and the x is sitting. I hooked a motor up to it and still nothing.

Lol. A blinking yellow light and a solid yellow light don’t mean the same thing..

Had a solid run this morn. Had one minor issue, screw on steering knuckle backed out. It was a Phillips head, so replaced it with a longer hex screw and put a bolt on the other end, as well. Otherwise, it did really well. Better than I expected, lol. Doesn’t have the front end weight to accomplish that first little climb when you start the trail by the creek, but did well otherwise. Def a big diff in this Servo and the beast in the other one. FB guy was out there, so we ran about an hr before his broke.

Got some more crawl time today. About to swap this shit servo for the one in the deadbolt. Really liking this thing. Will eventually add more weight up front, but she does pretty good.
