Well after having this thing sitting in the garage for over a month i decided to tackle the job. Its definitely a 2-3 person job but I managed to get it on alone. Dont ask me how. It was a pain in the ass. Just glad its over with....

 

What fire extinguisher holder is that? Also, have any more pics of that rigid light bar in action? I like that mounting location

 

Got the fire extinguisher bracket of of Amazon it is for a 5lb unit
. The lights also flash amber and I will also tap their high power wire to the brake lights somday.

Hell yeah!! lol. Gotcha watch out for the rogue shopping carts. I know being mallrated and all.

Yup going black. Its going to match the front. Its a rough textured powdercoat. Almost like linex but finer like a very fine grit sandpaper.

 

Bad ass. Can't wait to see it on the truck!

Did you guys with the HC rear cut your bedsides even with the bottom of the rear tail light? I thought I read somewhere that you typically cut it slightly below the tail light, but the pics Billy sent me appear to show it even with the bottom of the tail light. I can't measure from the top of my bed because of my camper shell, so I was going to use another location to insure the cut was straight and obviously the measurement would be off from Billy's.

 

It only been 2 years since I’ve installed my bumper, but I’m finally pulling the trigger on a winch. Any suggestions or opinions on a good which that’s fits.

Not even sure what they are for honestly. Is there any instructions for installing these things?

I think the disc you’re talking about go on the back side of the frame. These are also I believe 2 squares that that goo to the cross member on the lower part of the bumper.

 

Ok cool. I go ahead and have the disc things coated also.

 

I cut even with the bottom of the light but if i did it again, I’d probably cut a little lower. The gap between fender and bumper is bigger than i expected but it’s not bad at all

 

Define a little lower. 1/8" or 1/4" inch?

 

Not sure if billy mentioned it in the install docs but I'd probably try 1/4" lower .. Ill try taking a pic of the gap I have when I head out in a bit
