Well that information is not in the manual. So worst case it will burn up. Then i'll take it to a domestic service center for warranty work/replacment, which there are a lot of them in Denver.

Running smoothly at 130Mbps on my Xfinity here. Some days I get 180Mbps. Curious what fiber has to offer.

Only complaint I have about Comcast usually isn't their fault. With all of the new construction in the area, I'd say we have a significant "cut" outage about once a month, they usually last about 8-10 hours.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love fiber and find it ridiculous we don't have it in a new neighborhood, my mother in law in BFE North Carolina has fiber.

 

Will do, still at work, but wife says its a lot faster than our xfinity. Best part was comcast was trying to get me to not cancel and get their "comparable to fiber" internet speed...... They also claimed to have fiber in my area

 

Yeah, maybe on the other side of Indiana... but I guess that's technically "in the area"

 

OK so I would also be curious what plan you had through Xfinity before switching. What sort of gauranteed speeds you were supposed to get for the money you paid.

In my area the lines areabove ground and Centurylink was using Century product on the poles. Dropped them when they told me to wait 6 months for a planned fiber upgrade.

 

They supposedly can do 1000mb over coax now

 

I had gig speed through Comcast at my old place in Denver.

 

While streaming the World Cup on one computer I just pulled 75mb over WiFi on another computer using my xfinity service at home.

 

Comcast supposedly just got done running fiber in our neighborhood in Westminster, curious to see if/when we see speed improvements.

 

This is my Xfinity over wifi and using coax right now. I have Pandora streaming in the background right now but that is about it.
