I would keep looking. First I was undecided the went back and the price when up. Then went back one more time and it went back down. It’s minda weird because the package actually came from prinsu and not aventuron

I would even call them to see if they could price match it to my order number

So, I just got a ARE CX installed and now I’m installing my Prinsue Toprac. The instructions are decent, but I’m having a difficult time installing the mounting feet to the track.

Is there a trick to installing the anchor plates?

No, you have to figure out how to get the angle you need using washers or some other type of shim. There's a thread about another option using gate hinge hardware on the prinsu main thread I think.

For those of you with the awning brackets: I installed mine yesterday, but just realized my rooftop tent will most likely hit them now. My tent goes over my shell and folds out the back, but the width of the platform will run right into the awning bracket. Solutions? Obviously offsetting the tent will work, but wondering what else people have done. Maybe a more low profile bracket..

The problem I was having was seating the anchor plates inside the track. I figured out that I needed to remove the end caps from one end of each track in order to insert the anchor plates. I was hesitant at first to remove the end caps since they appeared to be sealed with silicone, but I could not come up with any other way, so I took the chance, and was sure to re-seal screw holes before screwing them back in.

Go to prinsu's main website and piece one together...price is up already. The 3rd party vendors have already increased their prices due to this

Tariffs are real, foreign aluminum costs 10% more now, that means domestic aluminum can increase their prices by 10% also

What method did you use for the weather stripping? Cut, 3/4 punch, or totally remove?

I guess I should consider the price I paid last week to be a value.

I used the 3/4 hole saw method. Looks clean, but you have to cut the metal rib out in the area where you will make the cut or else it willl bind the weather striping
