Not enough to have a build thread.
Forewarning, the following is a rant.

Less than a year ago, my service manager came to me (since I'm the most senior diesel tech) and asked me about a diesel tech that had worked at our shop previously, coming back. I warned him that the guy has a bad attitude and will negatively affect shop morale. Well they hired him anyway.

Since hes been back, hes whined and cried about every little thing, even when it has nothing to do with him or his job. I've barely refrained from hitting him multiple times. Hes basically been a spy in the shop for management. He underproduces. He spends more time walking around talking to coworkers than actually working, then cries about having low numbers. He cant do anything but diesel work and refuses to learn. Nothing is ever his fault. If someone else makes a mistake (once again, even if it has nothing to do with him), he blows it out of proportion and makes sure the whole shop knows someone fucked up. He's a lazy ass.

Well today management offered him a position as a service writer where he will basically double his income, work in an air conditioned office, and never have to strain his body again. Fuck this place.

"Hey boss, yeah hey thanks for letting me come chat with you real quick. I'm sure you are uber busy training the other guy to write some notes here in the A/C'd shop so I don't want to take up too much of your time. Just wanted to say, fuck ya'll and here is my official no-week notice. Peace the fuck out cocksucker."

I fired that guy. Well, my version. You need to be very cautious about the service he writes because he’ll do parking lot diags and fuck you over hard.

got the call, keys are now tomorrow. Apparently the records office had 6/29 down to do so, they will not be proactive and just record the transfer earlier than the date set.
