Not to mention when I uploaded this on shapeways and it was close to $200 for the part. Having it made in-house cuts out the middle man(shapeways) and you end up getting the same exact quality part for half the price.

The brainstorming is cool and never thought of some of these things. The benefit I have appreciated with ME-SO is the quality control and pride, can't beat it! Now sell me one

MesoJDM, I hope you don't think I'm suggesting someone steal your intellectual property, I was just saying that I was surprised that nobody had CNC'd one at this point....I'm eagerly awaiting the opportunity to give you $$$

Id be very surprised if it was over $100,000. If I'm not mistaken that would get you almost the nicest one on the market (available to the public at least.) the most expensive one I could find was 50k

I don't recall what thread, but MESO mentioned his printer and like any good stalker I took note. I figured I would see what something like that would cost and I think it was close to 150k, but I know zilch about 3D printing, so that may be a basic model.

Full disclosure, the printer is not personally mine. It is owned by the company I work for, and fortunately I have unlimited access to it(one of the perks working here). The printer, cooling station, and additional trolley was around 200K IIRC.

Meso, saw these on your build thread— these are awesome! Any idea when you’ll have a batch for sale?
