Ah shit, sorry. I ended up having a few bevies at the grad dinner, then after, so was in no shape to go anywhere with the truck.

I just relaxed and listened to the "skip" on Ch 6. Also googled what Skip is, and how to do it.

the difference between all 3 is not showing up well in the pictures, but its quite noticeable in person.

I'm around Wednesday through Sunday. Leaving Monday for the Foo Fighters concert in Ottawa!

 

Went on a little Canada day adventure which brought me to a small rocky beach. Aired down on the side of caution/being along/no recovery gear haha. Got an amazing view of the sunset, and fooled around with my phone's camera and a set of binoculars

Used the binoculars in front of the camera lens, came out pretty good!

 

When you're wheeling in snow and sand it's always good to airdown and spread the weight out as much as possible!

You also get better clearing action from the tire flexing.

Generally though, I'll air down because the truck is unbelievably rough when I'm bouncing down trails. Saves the kidneys.

 

This is the first time really airing down. Other trails I have done were dry enough to just run street pressures. I drove out onto the beach and noticed the tires hopping for traction so I went down to 20psi. Helped a lot and never ran into any issues getting stuck. Also made it smoother driving over the rocks scattered through the sand. I checked the tide charts before heading out onto the beach and they were on their way out so I was safe in that manner

PS. I didn't snap a picture but there was silver 2nd gen parked down on the beach with an empty boat trailer. At that time the tide was not to far out, but I seen a boat come into the bay later in the evening and he would have had to drag the boat almost 100ft to get to 'firm' ground where he could bring the truck down too

 

Doesn't sound like a prime location to launch a boat then... hahah

 

Not at all hahahaha, definitely not a designated boat launch spot
