Does anyone remember who rigged up a 90's land cruiser grille on a 1st gen grille? All I remember is a red truck.75c279fc56f401309fc3f5e8555f2a77.image.733x550.jpg

Had my busted cover replaced,I have to address the missing cable guides.

i cant remember. I remember seeing it and looking up the cost of that grill. I really wanted to do that to my grill. But it was costly and i have other things i need/want. How much did you pay for that if you dont mind me asking. It looks awesome when done

Finally installed my General HD leaf packs and tossed the worn-out OEMs and the Hellwig helper springs. Holy cow... night and day difference.I also replaced the front shocks with Bilstein 5100s on the middle setting. In retrospect I guess i could've bumped them up a notch to level it more, but I don't mind the rake.

That grille is from a 91-94 Land Cruiser 80. Being from a Land cruiser it is expensive, add to that it's old so you will probably have better luck searching eBay or CL. I've been looking for one to replace the one on my Land cruiser but I'm probably gonna just repaint mine since they're getting so tough to find.

Went to a new mountain today cause I’m pretty sure I’ve gone on pretty much every road on the normal one...

So I got up there and just started hitting a couple of the side roads:

    Ice Cave Peak

Random lake on a random road

    Random road I guess.

At some point I guess the back to bolts of my skid plate got sheared or something which left my skid hanging down, a quick ratchet strap and I was on my way, you’ll see soon.

Eventually I came to this sign:9B764EE3-00CF-437C-B3DC-5280F44F3B72.jpg
And I wanted to know what the Forest Service considered a Jeep trail, so off I went.

Here I readjusted the ratchet and skid.

    Poser shots cause yaaa:

Aaaand Cliff Lake, FS had a gate locked about 1/4 of a mile away, for some reason the built the road in the middle of the inlet to the lake?

Either way it was pretty neat.

The trail wasn’t really that tough, easy with 4WD, locked the rear axle once to get through some loose stuff going up a hill, coulda got by with out though.

Mountains are neat for sure, I hope I never live somewhere for an extended period of time where they aren’t an option.

Thanks, I need to get a better camera, Nikon Coolpix is great of my backpack, not so much for my truck.

And maybe start a new thread so I don’t clog this one up.

I’d be more tempted if I didn’t go to the same place time after time.

That's gotta be the most sturdy trans cooler mount Ive seen. Even factory Toyota coolers on the bigger vehicles don't use all the holes. What temps do you reach around PHX with the weather lately?
