So I currently have a aftermarket 2016+ grill on my 18 taco. It blocks the sensors for cruse control etc. So I stopped by the dealership and before I could get out of my truck I had a sales guy talking about by truck. We talked a while and he said "it's a shame you can't put in aftermarket grills on the newer models because it blocks the TSS" he then goes into to say you can put a chip where the sensors go to disable the TSS but it cost about $250. I called back today but he's off until the 9th. Ill give an update once I've talked to him again.

Just curious, so you're plan is to pay $250 to disable something that you can just live without anyways if it's blocked? I'm a tad confused why you would do that? Maybe I missing something.

What do you mean it blocks the sensors? Do you mean only certain after market grills? What about the TRD pro grill? It has a place for the sensor

I can't use cruse control atm because the sensors are blocked. I'm just trying to find out what it's called and find it online cheaper

You have a pro grill? The garnish is what you would need to replace the center where the sensors are.

This is the current grill I have. Its not 18 certified to work with the TSS. So it blocks the cruise control sensor so it can't work so the chip allows the cruise to work with any Grill

Ah I understand now.. btw the grill looks great.. maybe we need to just be patient with these aftermarket grills.. to allow them to start making them TSS compatible.. it’s still too new
