It sure is. When I lived in Pittsburgh for college I would leave to drive down there or drive back up here usually around 10PM. No one on the road and no traffic to deal with.

Yeah that Flat Point area in the link looks awesome!
Have any run in's with deer? moose?
I was coming home at 10 pm and a deer was on the other side of the road almost into the woods. She turned around and put her face into my bumper. Luck of the Irish. What deer turns around???

1st world problems fighting over the beach or the boat. HA I'm just happy I got a job today, only temporary 4 mos., but after applying to zillions, a recruiter finally helped me out. 1 1/2 hour commute, but it will be fine in the yota.

Nice, I've only seen it in the big bottles you buy by the single for like $15.00 (totally forget what they're called)

Are they not usually? I can almost always find Curieux at the local beer shop.
The 4 packs are handier than the 22oz bomber, though. Curieux's got some kick so they're nice if you want to enjoy a glass without finishing a big bottle.

Nope, I hate the beach. Especially since I have a pool

I see deer quite often near my house. One night in my 20s leaving the bar a wee bit over the limit, I rounded a corner to see a huge deer ass running up the street..fortunately, away from me. That scared me.

We usually go to the beaches in OGT since that's where the inlaws place it. Way too many people and fat Canadians in banana hammocks

That and a two mile walk each way with small children would be way more hassle than it was worth

    Oh, I see.
I've seen them around here for a couple of months now; they showed up in the local beer shop this spring.

But, I get spoiled for the Allagash products since the brewery is right down the road.
If you're ever in the area, do the tour. Similar to the Sam Adams tour, but with much better beer, and they let you try some stuff that'll never see the market, just things they're experimenting with.

I'm excited. I always crack a big bottle open to share and 5 minutes later everyone is going to bed. Haha

I have the same problem. The GF won't drink it so I either have to wait for a group of friends or be in the mood to get buzzed.

I bought one for the sake of trying it and opened the bottle not realizing I would have to finish it (ya know, like an idiot). Definitely not the worst mistake I've ever made, though.

I'm all for anything that tires them out. I'm not above making a harness out of ratchet straps or something, hooking them to the cooler like sled dogs, and having them pull it 2 miles.

Going up to Umbagog and Moosehead this week. I guess they'll be my little boat buddies on this trip. Haha

@BananaPeelOut give Moose Juice from Great North a shot too. Take away the bourbon notes and you're in the ballpark. Tall cans too :D

I'm assuming that you're referring to Mooselookmeguntic? Or are you pushing through to Jackman/Greenville this weekend?

Should hit Aziscohos while you're up there, if you're fishing. Good trout in that lake. And even if you're not looking to fish, it's a nice lake
