2018 Pro and Lmtd both have Premium as part of the specs. Meaning both come with Premium standard.

I was taking issue with Premium=Moonroof

I always say the ONE thing missing on my trd off-road is a sunroof. anyone got a saw-zall???

 

I love my sunroof. I can tilt it up while im parked at work and see the heat escape out the top. In cooler weather or night time its real nice.

 

True, I really wish they would segregate the Moonroof from the premium package.

I would have been willing to even pay a few extra bucks to NOT have a hole in my roof. This is not due to headroom, I am under 6' so no issue there. I would have preferred not to have the additional points of possible failure.

This is the 1st vehicle I have ever had with a moon/sun roof and, IMHO it serves no benefit.

 

If the sunroof and JBL were on the same package it would be perfect. I didn't want the sunroof or JBL, but would have liked leather and heated seats. The non JBL is so much easier to upgrade. For $135 the non JBL can sound way better than the JBL.

 

I wont buy one without a sunroof.

 

I didn't get a sunroof. That being said it wasn't an option in my 2016 TRD off road access cab. I remember a sunroof in my '14 Civic and the amount of head space that was cut out was absolutely absurd. I'm not a tall guy, I have a proportionate torso to my legs but still my head was jammed into the ceiling. The tacoma isn't that bad but you have to consider that if you have a proportionate or long torso it probably won't work out in your favour. I get a bunch of non disruptive air via the rear window without the sides open and my dog is happy with it too so I'm happy.
