how to use locker on 3rd Gen 2wd TRD Off Road

    I guess there may be some instances where a locked 2WD will outperform an open 4WD, but I can't imagine it being "a lot". For any off-road route, I would much much rather have 4WD than 2WD, locker or not.

    If you have the Off-Road 4WD you get the 4WD and the locker. Oh yeah!!!

    Any situation where a front and back wheel lift at the same time, a rear locker will win over 2 open diffs. The other situation is very steep climbs where all of the weight is shifted to the back axle and the surface is very loose. You are right, these are not common occurrences, but can happen in certain landscapes a lot.
