    The truck won't start without that plug being plugged in. If the plug comes out, the truck dies. Without the plug inserted it pretty much prevents the flow of electricity to all the major components of the engine. All the wires off the unit are the same color and protected by a steel case so it's pretty much impossible to hot wire.
