I'll Second That motion. Doctor color chip is about the best way to go. This will be the second time I suggested it. But I promise you it's amazing! The first guy didn't listen to me he just went and bought the stuff from Toyota and it's basically like putting nail polish on your car

don't feel alone op. I just got a dent with chip frida y just riding down the road. Guy comes flying out of the woods in his mower n proceeds to turn n now the edge of the road. Nailed the whole side of the truck, one of which hit just below the driver door handle. Couldn't believe I found myself hammering on a 30k new truck Saturday:anonymous:

I was going to have it fixed but then remembered the last truck i had a small spot fixed on for a bigger dent in less than a week of fixing the first.

Well, i think this thread has convinced me I need some rock sliders \m/ If im gonna destroy my truck i want it to be cause of my poor decision making, not because of a parking lot scandal

I park away from other vehicles when i can. I was parked at Kroger about a week ago and it seems the only shopping cart in the parking lot found its way to my truck. Gained some speed as well since i was on a very slight incline. Dented the side of my bed behind the rear driver side door. :frusty:

I had one roll and hit the front fender of my 1st gen way back there. It had just been repainted the day before. :annoyed:

I wonder if those aren’t rock chips?? Either way, paintless dent repair and Dr. Colorchip or other touch up paint will allow you to keep your factory paint, which is always good in my opinion. You’ll have to decide if the paint match is good enough for you. Otherwise, you could repaint the door but that’ll cost a bit more. Maybe insurance claim depending on your deductible? Bummer.

The same thing happened on the second month I had my truck, at homedepot...

Was walking back to my truck, as I witness everything unfold.
Too far away to do anything, as I screamed at it accelerating into my ride side front bumper.
The quicksand now has a little homedepot orange.

Same here. Thought it was going to be a repeat of the @Unchained 5150 thread...

Paint some flames on that taco!

I went with automotivetouchup.com. I probably would have done Dr. Colorchip but I have a Cement and I couldn't really find anything that matched. The paint they sent me isn't a perfect 100% match but it's close enough.

I rubbed the side of the tight ass bridge in New Hope PA, took off paint on both right side fender flares.
