I know what the problem is. There are a bunch of ac repair businesses in town and none of them have enough techs to handle the new calls and the scheduled work this time of year. Plus this is a split labor/warranty job. Parts are warranty and labor is paid by the customer. And, being how this is a return warranty call, they want to line up the money calls.

York already recalled this model of unit but didn't pay the company labor to swap them out. This one is a replacement York unit that was supposedly "the fix". Well now istead of changing out the unit York is just warranting the condensor and not the whole unit so the local company has to do more labor time and charge it to the customer. The local company didn't think York did the right thing so they dropped selling York units. But since they did the original install, they are still doing the work but are eating part of the cost.

That said, it's still not the customer's fault.

Currently at my AO 0947hrs 72° clear skies and high temp expected to only reach 80° today .Winds should pick up at 1300hrs to 17mph

 

Just got home from signing paperwork for moms house. I had to go to Sheboygan, my hometown. I drove past Lake Michigan and was that nice, 70 degrees. I get home and it's 88 degrees. I miss the "cooler near the lake"

 

Well the ac unit is done. Now I can get on with doing nothing for the rest of the day.

 

Fuckin guy is much to happy....

We had a Excessive Heat Warning a week ago with those same temps but with only 12-15% humidity !!

Mike try and stay out of that heat and stay inside with the AC going !!

 

We don't have alerts. We just have "Welcome to Arizona" signs.

Afternoon. were under a heat advisory for next few days. just ripped a tree out of creek at culvert bridge. back hoe then saw up. tree from HELL!! 3 in spikes ran one thru my boot and in my foot. ouch.
