Question:

How much am i looking at spending on a Tacoma in our area thats in good condition and not brand new?

It's going to be for my kid and if i find one before she is old enough ill be driving it to keep miles down on my tundra (only 4yrs old and at 108k)

 

My pups not feeling good again... It's a weekly occurrence. He's got in the trash when I feel asleep the other day. Now there's a new trash can in place that locks. If he really tries I'm sure he can get into it still.

 

Your description is too vague. How old and how much mileage? Trim/features?

 

I dont care about miles really as long as its been taken care of and in good condition. Probably 2005 and newer. Its going to be her first vehicle she is going to learn to drive in.

 

With the info we have, youre looking to spend 8 to 35k.

 

Well the kid isn't going to get a brand new truck 2005-2010ish

 

Might be easier to say what ur willing to spend, then we can tell you what to expect in that range

 

I’d go 07+ for the sole fact some of the 05 and I believe 06 had some head gasket issues but were resolved shortly after. If you want just base 2WD in decent shape I’d say 12k and up.

 

I don't want to spend more than 9k honestly. She will be paying for half of the cost eventually.

And honestly i would take older too as long add it was taken care of. Just trying to see ballpark figures so i know what to expect

 

9k might score a fair condition 150+k mile 2005 prerunner.

I had an '87 Toyota 4x4 i bought in '99.....100k miles on it at the time of purchase and paid $8k for it out the door....

Wasn't talking about a trailer, was talking about front end up grades. Approaching 100k in the truck and time to start planning to redo the front end. New LCAs, Tierods, replaced the OME shocks with something pretty, alignment tabs, gusset tha' fuck out of everything, new wheel bearings, anything else I can think of.


Now that I type that out...

SAS sounds more economical in the long run, welp, guess I need to see if I can become the next SAS rig built by Trail Toys...

My dog does the same thing, but it gets worse with heat, he breaks out in hives when it gets bad... I have to give him baths with shampoo that has Aloe and Tea Tree in it to help.
