I received the high power led dome light and I couldn't be happier! The 12 doesn't fit but the 6 is perfect. It's like it was made for the Tacoma. It's bright enough to where I don't need to do the map/dome light mod. It's a more pure white and doesn't have the blue color like the regular leds. I'm oredering the high power led's for the maps and licene plate now too, so the colors match. I recommend it!

So you ditched the 4410-CW9 for the 4211-CW6? The dome has a hint of blue, you are correct but if you say the CW6 are more "white", I might just pull the trigger! :)
    Let me know!

No dude I tried both of those and the 4410-CW9 was brighter. I'm talking about HIGH POWER LED's

    High Power 6-LED Festoon bulb Cool White - 7000K 42mm 4210-xHP6

This one is definitely worth getting!!! I'll take a pic later with my camera. My cell didn't work that well

I told you man! Night and day difference. Now their's no need for the map/dome light mod. Yeah I didn't put silicone on my headlights and I get the condensation in one of them so I need to re-open them, clean em, reseal em.

You might be able to just dry the condensation with a hair dryer or fan from the back if you take the light off the truck, and take the bulbs out. This way you can just put a good seal around the edges and most likely avoid having to open the light back up. I've done this with success before.

I was thinking more for the grime or water spots on the inside of the lense. I don't want my headlights looking dirty when they're clean. I don't know though. It's such a pain in the ass to do it. If I do it'll be to change my marker lights too. I dont like the orange lense. Anyways prolly shouldn't change the tread topic lol:threadjacked:

Lol I know right? One of my license plate lights actually just burnt out on my 1100 mile trip from socal to Washington. So I need to order another one. Other than that the lights seem to be great quality. Oh, and just a heads up the map light are a little bright. When I turn one on at night it's usaully the passenger one because if I turn my side on it blinds me. But that shouldn't alter your decision to get them they're great

Okay, just ordered my replacement "cool white" license plate bulb (1100K). I also purchased a pair of the same WLED-x5 but in "natural white" (5500K) The kelvin is much lower and should give me a much more pure white than the ones installed. I'll try them out and see if I like them better.

I also did the same thing with my map lights and ordered the "natural white" (which are 7000K and not 5500K like the WLED-x5 but it's the closest they had to not looking yellow)

The map lights might not make that much of a difference since they're only going from 9500K to 7000K but I'll see. If not then I'll Put them in my padre's truck for him.

I was thinking about trying a map light with a smaller degree beam as to not be so blinded by them but tying to find the right color white is taking up enough time.

The thread you link to in your first post, the pics don't work for me.

Do the new DEL light offers more power then the stock filament lights?

If so, the mod would interest me a lot! I would need more interior lights

Just go to superbrightleds.com and pick the lights that fit your truck. It's pretty simple. Check out the sizes and kind of bulbs in your truck first. They may even be the same as the 2nd gen. Their might be a thread out there though. Good luck!
You can buy the lights anywhere really but I really like their product.
If you look closely theres little open slots around the edge of each lense. I just stick something in that'll fit like a flat head or a knife and pry each open.
