So I was browsing Amazon on Sat. Night, and amongst all the carbon goodies listed for my Speed Triple I see these carbon rad shrouds list for less than $23 amongst a bunch of others of the exact same brand and seller for for almost $160. So I put them in my cart and bought them, fully expecting to get an email on Monday saying something about them being out of stock or that there was an error in the listing. Well got home last night and there they were! Total steal and one less black plastic part on the Speedy!

Anyone have any experience with Kreiga bags? I'm thinking of doing a US-30 tail bag with a US-10 either side for touring. Everything points to them being quality, but damn they're expensive! Just want to make sure it's worth the monies.

    I have no idea!
My friend insisted I buy this 95 xr250l, had 400 miles, so I made him give me a deal on the rack.
I hadn't ridden since my head on destroyed my left wrist, many years ago.
No regrets, love this bike and the versatility it gives me with my truck!

I might have preferred a 400, but the 250 is getting the job done.
I added a rack, moved the tool bag to the front fender, replaced the tires, and mounted mini turn signals off the license plate.
No more kicking the turn signal when I get on and off the bike.
It's even got the same birthday as me, month and day....

Pit bikes. What are they? I'm looking for something to play in the backyard on, not street legal that is cheap. Saw these things new for $500. Would rather have a Honda fat cat, but don't want to spend much money.

I have been using a US-20 for Commuting about 2 yrs and it is great, although a little small sometimes depending what I need for work. Just got a Adv 1190 and setting it up with Kriega soft pannier bags for camping trips. Love that you can expand capacity with the smaller bags added on. Setting up an OS-6 as a tool bag that can be mounted to any of the other bags or just be mounted by itself. You can't go wrong with the a Kriega set up IMO.

    I had a great time,
it's getting pretty packed with tourists, and you need to get a site reserved in advance.
I'm heading back up next week, we might run into each other.
I also heard that Caltrans is supposed to reopen the 1 this month, so you might not have to take the long way round. ..

yea, all the state parks are filled I had to reserve at an expensive campground just to get a spot:spending:(I'll be one of those tourists:p)
I heard about the re-opening, hopefully it opens so we can go home that way, we are coming from Shaver lake so we will go in from the North.
We will be there the 29th

Thanks for the input. A follow up question that you eluded to in your post, are the OS series bags compatible with the US series? In other words can you mount an OS to a US?

Kriega bags are worth every penny. Super high quality material, zippers, waterproofing, etc.

I have a R20 and R30 backpack, and the US-10 tailpack, and I’ve been very happy with them.
