On a last minute decision to find solitude, I went up to Eagle Lakes. My first time there. These trucks can mob. The area is beautiful.

Planning on taking a trip out to pillsbury weekend of 7/20.

If that’s not the final date of the gold lakes area trip, would be cool to see a lot more tacos out there.

Heading up with my cousin and his f150.
He just bought some fox shocks he’s hoping to have installed and tested by then.

Fishing, pewing, grilling, drinking are all on the agenda.

Not enough to have a build thread.
It's the eagle lakes area. Hit up @Fernando if you want to go. It's his second home during the camping season

Rad. It's a bit far from me down in the bay, but I'll add it to the list when I make it up to Almanor.

It's worth every minute of drive time IMO. And if you want to head up there Friday night after work, I could allow front yard camping on your way up. My place should basically be a half way point for ya.

Hot damn, talk about hospitality, thanks man! I've truthfully never off-roaded before and this is my first 4wd vehicle, so I'm not too knowledgeable about the whole thing haha

For what it's worth, I've been riding off-road for probably 14 years now, so I'm at least accustomed to falling in the dirt.

Its a fun and easy trail. Not a fire road. Has rocks and junk...pretty cool

Well taken care of. Pulled a bunch of trash out. Thanks for opening your home to me for the night :)

I went left. Was wondering what was down the rabbit hole to the right. Didn't have time to explore though.

A little more challenging for DCLB on 32's. Armor was lightly used.

Thanks @JLee and @Pelfreybilt. Quality products.

The limo is where it's at. I know it ain't a crawler and never will be, but it easily got me to EL and when we're mobbing the desert with 3 cheap hookers in the cab and 1800lbs of dildos in the back, they all be jealous ;)

I saw his FaceBook video of some trailer queen lookin rigs, so im not sure what/why/how. Ive heard alot about that area from some super gnarly wheelin buddies, read about it a little on here.

Im just tryin to fish some lakes that dont get fished very often lol

Yeah im sure, truth be told I'd be upside down like $8k if i tried to trade in anytime soon. So im stuck with my limo for a couple of years at least. Gunna make the best of them and just learn/improve my expo wheelin skills before i make the decision if i realllly need to downsize (or buy me an 80's and learn to fabricate some shit)

After i get some skids and replace my faulty sliders AND replace my shitty AAL/Spacer leveling kit (original owner, not mine), ill be lookin to get into some more fun stuff. Until then i might just stick to my fireroads lol
