    It's normal on every Tacoma. Even the Pro, which is still the same Tacoma (but with Bilstein shocks added).

    I was sleeping in my 4Runner when I heard my evap pump running for the first time and it definitely had me puzzled too.

    We test drove one before we bought her XLE. Very nice, however it was 11K more

    Yikes!

    Her's is an XLE hybrid. But I don't remember it being that much more than the XLE gas AWD we looked at.
