Never taken any sort of sleep medication. I'm afraid all the latent exhaustion would kill me.

Staying busy, regularly exercising, and eating healthy definitely has a big difference for me and maintaining a decent sleep schedule, but there are times that I cannot sleep to save my life.

Maybe I'll try Nature's Made Sleep. It's drug free and I've heard good things about it, so at worst it's a waste of $5 if it doesn't work.

I tried everything from melatonin to essential oils and nothing worked for me. Aside from ambien, getting on a regular sleep schedule and staying off my phone has been the biggest help.

If I get less than 8 hours when I do take ambien, then I feel a little groggy for a few hours. Otherwise, I recommend it! It also keeps you from drinking and waking up hungover

There’s no way I could take anything like that. With a 6 & 5hr. turnaround, emergencies & drivin’ here, there’s no way I’d make it.

What's up Texans... Some advice needed:

Since I had to give up on a planned Big Bend trip for earlier this year I've been dying to make my first visit happen. Anyone make the trip in the summer for a few days camping? Is it bearable and worth my time, or is it better to wait for the fall?

Guys. So about two years ago my mom had breast cancer, and they hacked her up. now she bought this 4 runner, and it hurts her to raise her arm up and pull down on the hatch. Is there an aftermarket power kit? Or think I could retrofit toyota parts? It's to the point where if it's not possible the 4 runner is going bye bye.

I know a Lady who’s very short & she uses a rope, simple fix for her. In your situation there must be someone who Mods vehicles for handicapped Folks. Sometimes insurance even covers it. A Society for Mobility might help too. I know about Canada but not the US.

Nov would be great but not sure I can get away from the family Thanksgiving weekend. Wife isn't into the camping so it'll likely be me solo.

That's what I figured. A nice "cool" spot under the mountains would be ideal. Just wish it wasn't so damn far and I could make a day trip to just check out some spots.
