Im not a beach person .
Made the decision long time ago not to go to the beach because-- I don't like to bake in the sun, kids pee in the water , and fish make love in the water , fish dine in the water eating scraps of other fish.
But the main reason is, I never learned t swim. I do drowning very well though.

I'd rather be out in the woods or fishing at a lake/pond than baking in the sun at the beach

 

Trying to get use to working half days on Saturdays now

 

Saturdays are our busy days and we are busy all day/most of the night. It definitely changes your social schedule a bit. Hopefully your Saturdays are a little slower than a week day and you can "enjoy" a half day. I find anytime you are working under 6 hours, the time usually goes by pretty fast since you are used to 8 or more usually.

Are you dropping another day, or just adding more time?

 

Well I tried for about 30 minuets before my 6yr old battery that had been sitting idle for 6months died for good.

Having some issues with the tune at the moment

Keep trying and listen to those guys that have done it before and you'll get it. Once it's running get a tune on it to make sure everything is good

Me hiding?? Naw. Was busy all morning, and then watched my Portugal DOMINATE but still lose. Such is life. Going to have a beer and then go install my @ACEkraut license plate bracket since it just got here.

 

If I didn't by just but new tires for my 17" stock FJ wheels if be all over those like white on rice

 

Question for you boat guys. This is a 14’ aluminum boat and I have a mercury 9.9 engine.
Does this piece need to be in line with the bottom of the boat? It’s about 4-5” lower . I was watching YouTube videos of guys building transoms to raise the engine so that it’s in line with the bottom.

I just installed a tohatsu on a 14footer. They make mercury outboards and my intructions call for that to be .2-1 inch below
