Shoulda got a 4 banger. Took longer to remove the steering shaft and lines than it did to swap the rack:p

Pretty much the case for the V6 too. Between taking the lines off at 1/8 turn at a time, and the rusty bucket of fuck that was the shaft.

Hopefully the anti seize I used will help.

That guy I mentioned did not buy my truck. I don’t believe I have the patience for multiple tire kicking / test driving sessions.

Not disparaging the previoysly mentioned potential buyer. He is a good guy, a TW member, and I fully understand his dilemma. Still don’t want to deal with listing the truck...

Anyway... when I need a steering rack, it’ll be replaced with that new Marlin rack most likely.

My ex found pics of my High School ride in a drawer.

My Dad did the flame job for me for my Birthday circa 1995-ish

We eventually put a SBC and TH350 in it. Unless she finds more pics in drawers, those are lost forever I guess.

I'll do it for 750$ plus the cost of a rack.

I was hoping those would be out before mine gave up the ghost. Instead I'm doing the solo Motorsports tundra rack conversion.

Mine seems to still be doing fine. I haven’t done any research on the subject.

That Marlin setup looks really impressive though.

It looks really good, but I don't know when it's going to be available.

How many quarts? I hear they are relatively small inside.

I think its 45 . I ran to ducks and got it so quick I didn't even look. It's a decent size for a day trip.

Yeah. It was 250. Over priced obviously but it works..I had it filled with water, used it as a seat, and then was cutting bunker chunks on top of it.
