    Too few to list.
For mostly on road and occasional off road, I'd recommend you look into Cooper Discoverer or Falkens. I believe Discount Tires are having a cash back or gift card promotions. Duractrac are good too but way too noisy after like 15K. BFG's are quieter but Duratracs and BFG's are load E and they will be stiff and heavy and that's why I recommend Coopers and Falkens and they also fit in your budget. Firestone destinations are good as well. Going 285's will kill mpgs and acceleration unless you have a manual with at least 4.10 axle plus you'd need a lift to fit.

If you haven't seen the new Cooper at3, take a look. The old design was very boring but they were really good tires. They've now changed the sidewalls. They're being rolled out now, so there isn't really any pictures available yet. Come in all sizes and load ranges. This is the XLT, one bad looking tire.

I have the old design and these tires are great. Quiet on road and hasn't failed me yet off road.

On a budget? You want something with decent treadlife that you aren't going to hate halfway into it's lifespan. Typically with tires the old adage of "you get what you pay for" applies, except in the case of the Cooper AT3s. I had those on my '96 4runner and got about 75k out of them before I sold the truck; they still had decent tread at that time. The old ones looked dated, but the tread design was excellent. If the new ones are at the same price range, I'd say you can't go wrong. For made in the USA tires that are as good as they are, they're way cheaper than they have a right to be.

That said, if the Michelins on your truck now have good tread, you might as well run them until they die. Michelin LTXs are second-to-none as an all-purpose, daily-driver truck tire, even if they look boring.

Sadly there is like no tread left on the tires they are so bald I feel scared to drive in the rain or go over 50mph

Just bought hankook dynapro ATMs 265/75/16 $317 shipped to my door with ebay sale and 2 rebates. Granted they don't have the coolest sidewall but have got good reviews and I'll buy something fun with the ~$300 saved over other brands mentioned. Maybe some skids to keep the sage brush out

I have been VERY happy with coopers, they last a long time and are relatively cheap

I wheeled for a long time on 32s and went places that were downright scary. 33s are nice, but dont think that 32s will keep you from having fun. I say go with 32s and save up for skids and sliders

Get either the Falken’s or cooper’s. Whichever you can get cheaper. I have the falkens currently and love them. Had ko2’s before and not worth the money.

The RTX or the new Discoverer At3 would be great choices, they offer amazing off road traction and provide great on road manners.
