At 85,000 miles I finally changed the spark plugs. The 3 on the passenger side were easy but 2 of the 3 on the drivers side were a pain to get the connector off the coil.

Welded on my @Mobtown Offroad jerry can holder onto my bumper and also now have all my material ready for tube doors. Just need to remove doors and get to welding!

Way to make a fellow homesick for the Maritimes! Could have used a few less degrees here. Today.

Added side steps from @Misfit today. Great fit, and the family approves of the easier climb into the cab. Thanks again!

Installed the CB radio. I've had a rattle in the back since I got my back window replaced. I noticed they broke some clips on the plastic trim behind the seats. So went to go replace and fix those (took them 5 trips to fix the window from leaking so I wasn't going to let them touch my truck anymore). Turns out the rattle was from a tool they left behind the trim. No more rattle.

I understand the bennies of the tube doors I had some on my Jeep long long ago but what do you do with a Tacoma if it rains it’s not exactly an all weather interior. They’ll give you a lot mor visibility though

The plan is to only use them on wheeling trips when there’s no forecasted rain. I’ll need a good bit of luck on my side as well! If it rains in there I’ll cross that bridge when the time comes.

Maybe convert over to the all weather rubber flooring? Isn’t there a kit for that with the rubber floor already cut and formed?

There is! I’m waiting until I trash my carpet and need a legitimate reason to replace it. It runs about $430 shipped

Hahaha, I went 5 miles off today with my parents and drifted for some flounder off some sunken box cars. 2 keepers and a couple throwbacks.... Just to rub it in a bit more

LOL! Love the softopper, dude. I'm contemplating selling the canopy for a bed rack + softopper setup.

I can stop lusting over an ARB bumper. 3 hours with most of the time spent organizing hardware and figuring out what goes to what. Aligning the bumper takes some patience.

    Removal

ARB dumps all of the hardware into a bag. Would've been a huge pain in the ass trying to dig out the right nuts, bolts, washers, etc while installing, organized that shit for sanity sake.

No noticeable sag running 600lb Eibach coils on 5100s, but plan on going up to 650lbs soon for the winch. I love the change over stock!

I'm sure most guys already know on here, but not much love has gone my 2nd gen's way and I'm looking at oe shock and coilover take offs on CL. Will I get an inch or so of lift in front if I install 2016-18 coilovers? And are the rear shocks compatible since (may be wrong about this) the 16-18 just have a body lift vs. 2nd gens?
