I'm near Bryan/College Station. Anyone recommend a dealer within 100mi? I'm looking for a '17 DCSB OR. I see people posting amazing prices on new trucks here, but the local dealers are pretty firm on price.

You need to work on at least 3 of them around you. Keep pushing them!! Now is a great time because it’s nearing the end of the month and more importantly the end of the 2nd quarter. This means they have end of month and end of quarter sales goals to meet. Start pushing them immediately and wait until a day or two before the end of the month and they will probably be all over you to buy from them. I used Don Ringler in Temple, Round Rock Toyota and Jeff Hunter in Waco. Round Rock beat Ringler and Hunter and I still turned them down. The next day they called me back and accepted my offer.

I went to round rock toyota and they didn't help me. My guess is because they wanted to sell me something off the lot. Once I told them i didnt want anything they had there all communication stopped. They were done helping me. Went to cedar park toyota and they found me a truck. Took 29 days to get it but it came in.

I'll try to do that. We've got Atkinson, Ringler, Hunter and Tegeler fairly close.

You need to find the truck you want and go to it. Not go to a dealership and let them find it for you. They’ll def rip you off that way. If truck is not on the lot, you have no negotiating power. Find it on Cars.com and then go to it

Toyota of Killeen usually has a good selection I went there when I was in the market, sales wasn’t pushy at all.

Doesn't that seem really cheap for a '17?

It seems well below market value. Just a little strange.

Good catch, it reads like it was hit while in the dealer inventory. That would be a shitty test drive, lol.

I'm going to look at a white '17 in marlin and a grey '13 in Madisonville today. I'm really torn on 2nd vs 3rd gen right now. Maybe driving them back to back will help me decide

That is a good deal. The cheaper one is 2wd though. The dealer didn't want to offer me much on my trade today. I'm gonna save a little more before I buy.

I am looking t buy my second Tacoma. I have been looking for what I want and usually have to go out 250 miles from Houston to get a better inventory. I use cars.com.

Find exactly what you want then go to that dealer. If they dont have what you want, then keep looking. End of the month or quarter is good time, also holidays. Holidays, the dealerships are looking to make alot of sales.

In the 3rd gen forum, people are passing that they are getting TRD ORs for $32k. Is that a realistic figure?

Maybe if they have 20 of them on the lot. I got mine $3500 under sticker price. You just gotta be a good haggler if you want a good price.
