After a couple weeks being on TW and seeing peoples Quicksand Tacomas, I had some regret getting the white. Then when I see mine again I’m over it.

As far as missing the access cab, I like the board option that someone posted above, but then again, instead of folding the seats down, I’m pulling my back seats all the way out and installing a fridge and foot locker. Can’t do that in an access cab. :)

    Great looking truck, man!

White will hold up longer than any other color. No clear coat.

    Enjoy it!

I wanted Quicksand, but options were slim pickins with me wanting a 4 banger manual 4x4.

This 2016 SR had what I wanted and was priced right so figured that I'd learn to like silver, but it looked a lot better in person than the dealers online pics... it's growing on me. :)

I'm not sure what fishing poles you guys have but all mine break down into 2 and even my 10ft rods fit in my short bed, I don't have any that don't, but mine are all saltwater other than the fly. I use the 7ft for freshwater fishing and my fly rod it breaks down to 3 or 4 pieces so it will fit into a bag that can be checked when flying.

It seems like you may have rushed this purchase. You Deserve to have what you want when spending that kind of money. When I purchased mine, I knew going in what my “must haves” were. V6, Access Cab, TRD package... as long as I met those 3 requirements, I would make the deal. Your Rig does look nice tho!

You could have got BSM with the Tech package, which in 18 gives you BSM and color keyed bumper without the sunroof/leather which is not premium package. As far as the black interior, going OR the only option you had was black or black/orange not much you can do about that. I've had AC, DCLB and DCSB, I agree the 5ft bed is kinda lame at first but you get used to it and prefer the turning radius compared to the DCLB I had which might as well have been a full size. I agree with most here the Silver is a better color choice. Cement will be like yellow was in the early 2000's a fad color that will hurt resale 10 years from now. Silver is classic. I empathize with your feelings though I flirted with a Silverado for 4 months hated it and moved back to a Tacoma in 15. I'd say just try to enjoy your truck and congrats ;)

Have you tried taking the headrests off the back seats and folding them down? The plastic side of the seats can take a lot of abuse and leaves you access to the cubby’s. I do it all the time instead of putting dirty/sharp things on the fabric.

Thats the one. It fits almost pefectly. Its maybe 2" narrower (from door to door) and just right front to back. If that makes any sense.

I was going to say the same thing about bed length. Get a good set of come alongs and put them in the cubby. Most big items can be hauled with tailgate down and straps.

You might curse that decision once in a while but you celebrate it every time you pull into a parking space or navigate a tight path.

    OP:

In my experience, it’s damn near impossible to find EXACTLY what you want without ordering it or traveling. Always going to settle on some detail.

I wanted a used TRD off road, DCLB in MGM. Closest I could find is my sport.

I don’t need the crawl control, locker would have been nice, and I hate the hood scoop.

No remorse tho, I love this truck!
