There’s a thread for swapping hoods you know. People without scoops are willing to pay you handsomely for yours.

Silver looks sharp! Add black accessories / mods. Window tint, steps/sliders, racks and/or tonneau or whatever you need. This color silver is unique with the metal flakes and how it reflects different lighting. Looks bright silver in the sun, almost cement under clouds or when dirty from a trail

I went from a 2016 Tundra CrewMax to a 2018 OR DCSB. I spent months researching [analysis paralysis] and test driving a few. Short bed, long bed...would I miss the space, towing, and gobs of power from the 5.7? I even went back and forth between Super White and MGM, especially since most of my vehicles and my 4R Trail are white. I wanted a Pro, and the dealer had a white one in stock...I couldn't justify the price delta, and they wouldn't budge with the Pro. I've had my OR for about a month now, and for how I use it, I love everything about it. All those "regrets" I thought I would have haven't manifested...

Enjoy the hell out of that truck!

Nice looking truck! Good advice on the black add-ons; look super on yours, obviously a hard-working beast.

Black accent's and de-chroming make a big difference on all the colors. I think it really makes silver look good. I've since removed the door emblems. Getting rid of the chrome bezel up front cleans it up also.

i'll admit that I had buyer's remorse the week after I bought my previous vehicle (2015 JKU). I didn't care for the lack of amenities a car of that price range should've included, but then again, it's a Wrangler... and was meant to be stripped down and rugged-ish.

quite the opposite when I brought home my taco... I'm nearly a year in and always turn back around when leaving it in the parking lot.

hope it turns around for ya... maybe the sticker shock will wear off.

My only buyers remorse at first was I wanted blizzard blue pearl color but ended up with magnetic gray matellic.

I love the color now and inferno/white are the most popular colors in my area.

20 months later and 26k miles I am still loving my TRD off road.

Ha.... They gave me a white when I had my truck in for a recall. Said to my wife, should of gotten a white. Then when I finally got my Silver back, I looked at and said, "you know, I'm glad I got the silver" lol.... They are all nice I guess!!!

It's true but I was only trying to shield you from the initial "modding shock". :sorry:
The best advice I can give you is to set up a small living expense account, keep it to the bare minimum, then everything thing else allocate for Tacoma mods. If you have a home, take out a second or even third mortgage. This will usually get you through your 1st year of mods. After that it's time to get creative. Have you ever seen the TV show "Breaking Bad"? Doing something like that can help offset the modding expenses. :transformer:

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title! Thank God I'm not the only one.

Now I've got that stupid theme song stuck in my head.
