That, and you don't have to drill holes onto your bumper. In my case it was already too late because the dealership had already done it when I picked up the truck. And this way you don't have the plate flapping around and hitting the bumper either, leaving marks.

 

Cool. I probably wouldn't have bothered myself. Good if you're putting in a lightbar too I suppose

 

Figured I'd put my plate back on since I'll be driving to OBX tomorrow for the week, and didn't want to take a chance getting in trouble. And supposed to have it here in CT. Not a fan of having it on the bumper, so this was the way to go.
