    Just got some 881s w/ a 3/8” top plate spacer installed on 5100s. I also just finished installing the @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc differential drop kit.     Also shoutout to @boogie3478 for the tips on uninstalling/installing a skid plate on your own with a floor jack. Made everything much easier to line up and hold in place.

    I had Bilstein 5100s set to the highest notch with a stock coils before so the new setup is a little softer over bumps. However, my rear setup is still the same with a progressive aal so I can still feel the firm/stiffness in the rear when going over rough spots.

    Truck looks good!I'm installing 881"s next week with .25" spacer & no AAL. Mine is a prerunner v6 so i guess ill have some rake. Glad to here the rides not bad

    New cv axles. Might as well get them. Unless you want to re-boot but you’ll be pulling the cvs anyway. if you got the coin just get some remannads somewhere

    I was thinking the other day about it. A fairly local shop (2hrs away) could do it. I don't DD my truck, so I could swap with some old shocks while they are being rebuilt. The shipping would only cost 20-30 bucks. And it would only be for a week maximum. And maybe once a year or every other year

    Figure I should update in this thread; I finally figured out the clunking I was getting from my Dakars after installing the AALs on both sides...turns out I had over tightened the spring clamps on each leaf pack by quite a bit (there are 3 clamps on each side, 6 total). There's a long cylindrical washer that's supposed to prevent this from happening but my dumbass tightened them to the point that the washer started bending. I backed off on them until they were just over hand tight and the popping went away completely right away. I was amazed that that terrible clunking sound was all due to something so simple but there you have it.

    Just in case anyone else runs into this issue

    Hey everyone,
    I went with 883s expecting to get a bumper/winch in about 6 months. After a month I am already seeing some grease spew from the inside cv boot. Have anyone gone from 883s stock bumper, to 883s with an ARB (or other plate bumper) and winch - how much did the height change? Do you think it will be enough to reduce the lift up front and make the CV's happier? May need to speed things up if itll help. Sorry @Chinle @m3bassman I know I've already asked you haha
