Any 3rd gen guys running OME? I am thinking of going with it for suspension. Using 2880 springs up front and 2890 in the rear. Any experience good or bad to report on? Thanks

I saw this in your build thread, but I refuse to post on t4r from mobile. I like how you said something about making irreversible cuts. Then the next picture is like 5 square feet of the floor removed hahaha

    Looks good though!

Ok, I’m talking to him now. You close to Glendora?

    You’re retarded...haha

Clean up the bodies to remove the rust but paint coils. I’d actually put some 14x650 on and put it on a potential new vehicle I’m checking out tonight...

Awesome, I’ll pm you his number if you want to arrange a pick up. Got him down to $300. Woot!

Figured I’d powercoat the bodies, great investment. I have blue king coils and might just rock the red white and blue.

I am staying in the 33-34 inch tire range, would you guys recommend 4.56 or 4.88 gears?

My biggest concern is RPM at highway speeds.

Same tranny ratios as the 5th gen?

It does sound like 4.56 would be better. I will being doing a lot of highway with this.

Hah! That's the second conundrum i was thinking about too... do I just buy a locker for the front now or not...

TBH, probably not. I rarely used the rear locker in my Taco, I live in the desert, and i am not going to be rock crawling this rig. it's too nice to be bashing up in canyons.

Or you could buy a real tire next time and gain a full inch

Falken M/T’s. They’re pretty nice. I like them. Noticeably less traction than MTR’s, but at least they’re round and have good street manors.

I think I wheeled last in April

What do you need sipping for out here? Seems like every other Jeep I see has totally bald tires. I don't think it ever rains out here haha
