So, I am perfectly happy with my Inferno. One year 8'000 miles and I love my truck.I just got a small Casita trailer and when I tow it it squats a bit. Been camping 4 times so far and every time someone mentioned they love my truck. Sooooo I ordered Sumo springs. My wife the other day sees a Taco with some slightly bigger wheels and says "those look cool". One stupid statement by her. Just one. So I think hey I may as well do the 5100s and go one size up on the tires. Of course I turn the the RABBIT HOLE known as TW search bar. $2k, 2 days and about 6 hours of TW reading and I have TRD pro wheels, Cooper discoverer (new style), 1" block on the way Bilstiens in box and also I got myself so paranoid with taking my brand new truck to a shop decided to install shocks myself. Damn it TW!!!!!
    It's gonna look awesome though.

Anxious to see those new tires. Not many pictures exist online yet. They're my next purchase for sure.

Don't blame TW for wife's thinking.

You should thank TW for helping make her happy. Improving your marriage and all that.

Haha. Not sure. I was toying with the idea of selling my Bak revolver x2 and getting the RCI bed rack. But not ready for that just yet. I am sure something will pop into my mind and stay there nagging until it's done.

She is as cool as they come. She knows some forces can not be stopped. She was mad at me when she came back from D.C. from a conference and saw I had traded my 5 lug in that I only had for 8 months. LOL. She was only mad for about 6 minutes though, not too bad,

Doing 1” all the way around?
You’ll be happy for sure! Made a huge difference in mine lifting it a tad bit and going with bigger tires and different wheels.

Nice! I wanted to see an Inferno set up similar. I am pretty phsyched. Are those 265/70 17s?

    They’re 275/70/17. Measure out to 32” tires.

They look awesome. I saw you remove the mud flaps and figured they were a bit bigger. Did you do anything else to keep them from rubbing?

Tell me about it. I bought a 2016 and was perfectly happy with it... Until my wife got in it and said 'It kinda smells like smoke. I almost wish you bought a new one.'

24 hours later (and 5 days after I brought home the 16) I had severely beaten the dealership into taking it back and walked out with an 18.

Front mudflaps were moved, rear were left. Tires hardly rub at all at 1” lift up front, they only rub at full turn when reversing and it’s only slightly.

Thanks. I am going that route too, no sense in holding back now, lol. Tires are the only thing I didn't order yet because I won't be here when they arrive so I will be ordering on the fifth. Every time I have ordered tires for motorcycle or truck they always arrive the next day.

Haha yeah just do the 1” and it makes a huge difference in my opinion! Plus, you won’t run into any needle bearing issues, needing UCA’s or other shenanigans that come with more than a 2” lift.

Exactly! And I need it to be road friendly. I only do short camping trips for now but in a few years going to be ready for some extended 1-2 months trips out west.IMG_20180515_201512.jpg
