Braved the Cape/hellish heat this morning to secure a new member of my family! :headbang:

    IMG_1718.jpg IMG_1727.jpg IMG_1723.jpg IMG_1741.jpg IMG_1742.jpg IMG_1730.jpg IMG_1729.jpg IMG_1745.jpg

    I am beyond pumped!

Yes, its a full-on restoration project, but its all original and was kept covered for the last twenty odd yrs., engine/trans were both operational before it was left to sit. Frame is surprisingly in great shape

This Landy's coming back to life, just need to figure out how to transport it to the Island now...

Its all :spending: :spending: :spending: from here on.. :cookiemonster:

So I'm at a loss for what I've done but the timing is awful. Drove home from the trails on the highway no issue; try to drive to dinner and all hell breaks loose. I think that maybe a bearing went or something but I have no idea. Turning left makes it worse, turning right it goes away. Anyone have any suggestions? I kinda need to fix it before Thursday.....:annoyed::frusty::frusty::help:

Jack up the wheels and see if the bearings have any play in them. Sounds like it could be a bearing.

That’s super badass man! Looks like a lot of work to be had but it’s a great foundation.

It's 95* in the shade right now even with the sun going down. The kids asked if we could wash the car so who am I to deny them of that request!
My youngest even dressed up for the occasion!

I will say their getting pretty good at it!

My thoughts exactly! this was the rig that inspired me to get into 4X4; when I was a little guy pouring through stacks of Nat. Geo., these were what I saw and that mental image always stuck with me. Thanks for the support

That was an aggravating game to watch! Pepe's goal was pretty sweet but Uruguay did a great job of holding back Portugal without their star player. Of course there was that missed shot on an open net too. Not sure who to root for now, though!

Morning all. Kinda warm out this weekend...
I started out at 0500 doing firewood and had to call it quits around 0900 because I was radiating heat like a banked fire. Switched to felling trees instead, but was still pouring sweat and everything was sticking to me so I called it quits and powerwashed the deck & the North faces on the garage and house.

Well here we go again, a new year and a new round of "you gotta lower the suspension" at the inspection stations. I know I ned to replace the broken passenger side mirror but come on! I've got 265s on her now and she isn't even sitting that high! The place I was going and not getting any crap from was closed this weekend so i tried a couple others that looked "flexible" and now MA is wearing me out. Any suggestions in the central MA area for flexible inspectors (I will consider bribery as well ).
Oh well started soaking the Icons in preparation to crank down the front end tempo. I have to pull them this year anyway for rebuilds since the pass side is leaking some...
