What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got my Wilco tire carrier on.

 

Put $400/month into a savings account and when a new one is needed then it will paid for or have a very large down payment.

I spent some money on my 2013. Feels new again and I really like the progress. Next up bumpers winch and possibly a shell.

 

Put new stabilizer links on because mine went bad and were clunking. Bought the higher end ones with zerks fittings. Man it feels great to own a lift. I didn't need to use it...... "but it helped".

 

Got my lights in. Wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be.

 

Installed a undercover SE I found on Craigslist.

 

Ditch lights and light bar.. Late Fathers day present from the wife.. she's a keeper!!!!

 

Today’s project: Install new warranty replacement winch.

 

Finally got around to the ecgs bushing. Not as bad as I imagined, took about 3 hours

 

Would like a picture with the lights on but they look sweet.

 

I think my needle bearing broke in the same spot upon removal haha

Set up an extra fan today. Saw the engine compartment was up to 141 deg last weekend in Bing bear heading to Pioneertown. Little bit extra airflow was good for my 97 tahoe. Likely good for the 2008 taco.

 

Did my ABS kill today too. Thank you to CROM and all the liks on that thread.

Picked up a fire extinguisher from Costco on sale. Not sure where or how I’ll mount it yet. Bigger concern is if it can take the heat in the cab in AZ during the summer. Have to assume so as they are mandatory for commercial vehicles, right?
