Dude... you’re too cool. Keep on judging all those who don’t think or do the same as you. Some people actually have kids but still prefer the manual option.

I don’t have kids but still went with the 4 door. I personally just think it looks better. To each their own though so I don’t see the point of people who talk shit. I’m fairly new to this forum, but it seems odd how fellow Tacoma owners will talk down to others just because of generation, color, MT vs AT, etc.

We all love the same damn thing ya weirdos.

Whatever you think SR5 stands for, you are wrong.

"Originally released around 1975, the 'S' denoted Sport, 'R' denoted the RN motor code, and '5'
denoted the 5-speed transmission. It quickly caught on and the SR5 connotation
passed onto the Corolla and then onto other Toyota car models."

Also, you do not have a manual '17 SR5. Was not available in that config.

I had a 1985 Toyota truck sr5 with 200k on it and ran great probably should have kept it and built that. Would have fit great on all these Jeep trails. These new Tacoma’s keep getting bigger.

Automatic transmissions can get hot and burn up if they shift to much. They have more internal parts and more things go wrong. You'll NEVER burn up a clutch if you know how to drive it, but and automatic will burn up just by driving. I've had 4 automatic transmissions go out on me... granted they were GM transmissions and rebuilds but you get my drift.

I told you in the last post about the gearing.

My MT was $3000 less than an auto, so you are correct sir!

    OK, maybe not all.....

I use my nice solid truck as a truck, and it is well suited to my needs, so I am happy with it.

Your Tacoma "lifestyle" vehicle didn't meet with your expectations, so you got something that makes you happy- a Subaru.

I like Tacomaworld because it is a good source of information, and also entertaining.

I guess you are also here for "entertainment"?

    Cheers

What do you call the classification of people that are less than poor?
Seeing as how my SR is less than an SR5.
