Added the Tuff Skinz Pro grille gloss red letters. Had some others on the back end. Looks like I have to now get the Tuff Skinz for the back since they are not the same color and obviously that is really, super, IMPORTANT!
    So’s I tell the wife.....
    She rolls her eyes.....”Whatever!”
She goes “I get some new shoes, right?”
    Eye for an eye.....
    Something like that.....

Did the suburu kicker tweeter swap. Probably the easiest mod I’ve done to my truck. If it’s the only thing you do, do this. It is such an improvement over the stock tweeters. The kicker ksc door speakers come tomorrow. I can’t wait to swap the old ones out.

Looks awesome BTW! My wife had to do a master jam Zumba class today so I had the whole day to spend out on the trails! Life is good some days.

Coming from the stock Firestones the wildpeaks blow me away in looks and they are pretty smooth driving as well.

Indeed. They have great traction too in the loose stuff.

I have added iStep running boards, a Bestop rear mounted TrekStep, a BakFlip MX4, a Pop N Lock Power Tailgate Actuator, Chrome tailgate insert letters and MattGekeo LEDs
I keep seeing everyone say do this but I am happy with my sound system. I have a 2017 Limited and I guess the audio upgrade in it has different speakers than the speakers everyone is swapping out. Does anyone know if that is true, or do I just have crappy hearing?

If you have the JBL system your speakers are definitely an upgrade from the ones everyone is changing out to the kickers.

If you have the jbl system, I wouldn’t do this. I just got the nicer entune head unit with out the Jbl speakers. My truck is an off road, I don’t know if the limited comes with nicer speakers if they are not the jbl’s.

now that the sun has gone down and temps have returned to a more reasonable 80*......i was finally able to finish up the install on my CB into the Tacoma......debated between installing a CB or a HAM rig......decided a CB would be more useful on the road....

plus i have an ARES jumpkit with a couple of handheld HAM radios in the truck at all times anyways.

Antenna bracket mounted and PL259 connector soldered up (CaliRaised antenna mount for those interested, Reamed out to 0.5")

Coax/ grounding strap run down the bed under the rail caps
    [IMG]

coax run down the back of the bed onto the frame rails, coax ducks into cab via grommet, ground cable grounds to chassis.

Coax run under the carpet into center console, power run via 12v adapter....didnt want to hardwire so i could swap between vehicles if need be.

Cover all that shit up with a console tray, just wish the tray was like a 1/2" longer though...(console tray from Amazon)

    TADA!

Antenna comes in Tuesday, then ill be all set.
