Added the second bit of bracing to my bumper as well as my gas can into the holder. My ass isn’t naked anymore!!

Dude it’s brutal. It’s days like today where I’m happy I have an office job. I was gonna do some welding when I got home, but stepped outside and immediately said fuck that.

 

in all of my travels, i have never needed 2 cans. 1 was plenty, 2 was too much weight over the ass end loaded with everything else

 

Yeah 1 is plenty for me and that’s just insurance. Next to it I’ll keep my 11lb propane tank which I’m welding up a bracket for right now. Hopefully I’ll have it done by the end of the week.

Check out the Black MWC- I added a hose valve. It was soooooo convenient this last camping trip.

yeah, from all my probing, the overhang on the long beds is minimal and plus chandler is a nice guy to deal with...bobby too but he is dealing in much larger volume and things happen....

 

The bottom part of bracing you could just buy from @Mobtown Offroad if you ask nicely. The upper part that you see in this pic bolts to the bumper itself, so it wouldn’t work for you.

 

soft shells are great for what they are, ive had 2 and any long trip reminds me why i want to dump it for a much simpler solution.

 

Why when i start typing mobtown into google mobtown ballroom comes up? Is this like a fancy mosh pit?

 

That’s the main reason I got the skinny six pound propane tank. 6” diameter fits inside a standard fuel can holder. Just added two SS T-bolt clamps to secure the tank.

 

If you're looking for the bracing it's not on there. He doesn't even mention them on the bumper page! We're fixing that. You'll have to PM him to ask.

Also I just forgot that you'd need to drill a couple holes in your bumper for the bolt to pass through.

 

how much that run you for the can? i have a 9" diameter one that is hard to place.

 

Them shits are expensive, like $150. That's what drove me to buy the 11lb one (also 9" diameter) for $50

 

Well i can't find it on the @Mobtown Offroad website. You got a hookup? Or would i have to do something that would make @Superman910 blush... because I'm not down with that.
