Nuno, have a safe trip and a good week down there. We’ll be making a trip the following week in the taco too, but in the opposite direction. Niagara Falls.

A couple of months ago, I made a wooden cell phone holder, that fits in the tray by the shifter. I cut a recess in it to accommodate my wireless charging pad. This weekend, I primed and sanded it, and dipped it in hydro film with a carbon fiber pattern. I'm very pleased with it! All I have remaining is to spray it with clear coat, after the hydro film has had time to cure.

ADS 2.5 with Extended travel/ADS 2.5 Piggyback rear. Dakars. Pelfreybilt Aluminum front bumper,Skid and Brute Force Fab HC rear bumper. 5 x SCS Stealth 6's in Matte Bronze wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Wet Okole front and rear seat covers. Wilco Bed Rail Tire Carrier. Light Racing Upper Control Arms. Marshall Fabrications sliders with kick out. Mobtown Tailgate Reinforcement Skin. hyper15125 retrofits. And many many odds and ends.
Got a question. I have a Pelfry aluminum front bumper and skid. 65lbs for the bumper and 26 lbs for the skid. No winch yet but maybe down the road. So that would be another 60 to 65 lbs. So this would be about 150lbs extra in the front. I have 885's with a 13mm spacer on both and a 3/8" spacer on driver side for Taco lean. that gets me to 2 and 3/4" . Will a 887 coil handle the weight of the setup with the bumper or should I go straight to the 886 coils. It maybe some time before I install a winch and I do not want a super harsh ride.

    Thanks and Be Safe...

Where did you get these? I've been looking for something like that to give some extra strength to my aluminum winch bumper.

I’m rocking 5100s/886s with a steel USOffroad bumper insert, 9k winch, full relentless 1/4” steel skids, had to upgrade from 885s to keep my almost 3” lift.

Both braces are included with the mobtown front bumper. The bottom 90° part could work with your bumper, but you’d just need to drill a couple holes. The side ones wouldn’t work at all for you

They’re not on their website but pm @Mobtown Offroad and he may sell you a pair.

Pretty good in my opinion, nothing that anyone who doesn’t know which springs are installed has ever commented about. They are a stiffer spring so the ride is stiffer, but nowhere near harsh.

adding winches or anything to the extreme ends of the truck will make you sag. you will sag regardless, how much all depends when you put it on. More weight on heavy springs actually make the ride better. Another thing to consider if you winch from a alumn bumper, check for warping in the metal, ive seen some bumpers flex and not hold shape over time -- though not sure on pelfrey.

    Gotcha. Thanks for that.
I'm usually hauling a cooler on the weekends and this seems like a practical way to access.
