Demo is the fun part. Putting it all back together the way you want to is the challenging part. I bet you are sore.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
After driving around the area for 3 days, we've narrowed it down to Dixon, Woodland and Vacaville to live... Pros and cons to the smaller 2 cities from anyone?

I have to factor in the drive to Travis, unfortunately. West sac was part of the original idea, but we didn't get time to check anywhere out there. We're also looking at private schools too and their costs.

We met up with my old boss who lives in the junction. The area looked nice, but I don't think I can swing 3k a month in rent there...

Vacaville is up to $3k a month now for rent? Holy cow. Doesn’t surprise me much, but that’s Marin County/peninsula rent talk here in the Bay Area at that price point. Granted, you may be talking about $3k for a 3 bedroom home or something. Crazy though.... closer to Sacramento sounds like your best bet.

Dixon is nice, And you can take the backroads into Travis. Less traffic than Vacaville but a smaller town. The downtown area of Woodland and Dixon is cool. I’m a fan of smaller towns. Vacaville has all of the amenities, so Dixon would be closer to those and Travis. Just know that both have a lot of Agriculture business and occasional equipment rolling down the road lol

Most of my guys live in studios in South San Jose for $2400 a month...I'm sure that in that neck of the woods, (at least I hope so) you get more for the money.

    Rents are crazy high.

My town is so small, the only traffic light is triggered for a crosswalk in front of the school. We're close to larger populated areas, so we can go shopping and whatnot, but if we stay in town we have a gas station, pizza joint, small-town grocery, and a few other mom-and-pop places. I enjoy the small-town feel, and don't even mind the commute into work.
My wife is even still ok with her 35 mile commute, because once she gets home, she's our own little paradise. (her words)

None of this is relevant to the conversation, since I'm much further up 80 than @Haslefre is looking; I just figured since everyone else was chiming in about where they live...

    Independence Day, July 4th

“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty; it ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

John Adams, 2nd President of the Untied States

And for some of you freaks out there, it says "solemnized" not sodomized.

At my house there will be baby back ribs, tri-tip, red beans and rice mix with sausage, pheasant, and crawfish, and a variety of appetizers. Folks will be rolling in and out beginning around 5ish. Send me a PM if you think you might like to join and I'll give you the address.

Uhhhh. You are supposed to loosen the long ass UCA thru-bolt before pumping them full of grease. You almost blew the bushings out because there's nowhere for the grease to go with the large TC washers and gussets and torqued to 87ft-lbs.

Jack the bastard up, remove the nut from the thru-bolt, and cycle the spindle up and down with a jack and see if the grease comes out and the bushings return to normal shape.
