If you are planning to Grouse hunt in WI this year the season has changed. It was September 15th through January 31st. Now it's September 15th through November 30th. Bag limit is still 5.

It actually shoveled off easily. One more load should do it.

Yeah over on Upland Journal up to 9 pages about it already.

Stupid. Just plain stupid. They think West Nile Virus may be the reason so many had a bad year grouse hunting last year. But only tested 9 birds. So lets do something. Even if it is the wrong thing and will not help even if WNV is the actual reason :annoyed:

I haven't posted in the UJ thread still too pissed.

But I did find a package of bacon in the fridge that expired yesterday so needed cooked. And temps dropped nicely down to the low 70's today.

    sausage asperagus onion peppers.jpg

Brown Sugar & Bourbon sausage, peppers, red onion, and bacon. With some bacon and a little asparagus on the side. So life is good. But now I want some ice cream and don't have any.

I'm just making a pad for a small storage building. Just one of those cheap plastic deals for now.

When I have to be lol. It just sucks to not have a level spot on the whole property. This could have been done better but it is a hundred and eleventy degrees out. Heat index upper 90s for real though.

Yeah it's a lot harder after the fact. You going to build up or move and redo?

Bacon doesn’t need to have artificial “smoke” added.

Tomorrow morning's forecast: 100% chance of Bacon.

Went out tonight and started my week's chores. Got 2 of 5 small palms trimmed. Sprayed the lawn borders then the sprinklers came on. Ran to the garage, turned sprinklers off, put tools away, called it a night. Tomorrow I'll work off and on through the day trimming and stacking.

Funny, we don't have that problem much. We can't have fireworks all year but they're still pretty readily available. When we can have them, just about every store sells them...Walmart, Target, grocery stores...

I’ve been in it everyday. It’ll take its toll on ya after awhile. Had no water last night. Had to visit well house and jack with pressure switch at booster pump. So add that to my list
