    leveling kits - 6 inch lifts of different manufacturers with different size wheels, let’s see them!

    I’m trying to figure out if I wanna run a really expensive set up for mall crawling or a really cheap rough country set up.

    First posted nailed it, 3" lift on 255 85 R16's. That's what I'm running, Probably the most funcional without chopping your truck. You will get NO love on this site for wanting to build a Mall Crawler w/ a 6" lift. Though I guess if you don't care about Re-sale or funcion or gas mileage that's a valid option... I wouldn't do it. 3" is pretty much max you can do without really messing with things. Tire size I mentioned will allow you to keep your wheels. Go wider get chopping...

    Thanks OP, it’s A 3” OME lift from Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road. SCS SR8 16” Rims in Dark Bronze and Cooper ST Maxx 255 85 R16’s.

    I did NOT do UCA’s and have been quite happy. I have pictures of my alignment and I’m more than happy. If i did it over, i would do it exactly the same.

    Installed JBA UCA’s a while back they are 100% requires looking back I don’t know how I got by without them. There is no sarcasm there I mean it.

    Good luck in your decision. Oh and for what it’s worth me and two other guys put it on in well under 3 hours (they are mechanics and we used a lift to be fair)

    How come a 6" is hated on so much? Don't you get way more center body clearance.

    What about approach and departure angles? Don't those go up as well?
