I guess if it's not heated it's fine. But sucks in the winter cause no insulation.

i love cali...its got its down sides, but plenty of good things about it. Plus its got the best surf in the US besides HI islands. Id move there but then i cant go to moab or do the rubicon. Or go to tahoe, or yosemite, or mamoth or drive up the 395:notsure:

True but you would be doing the same trails over and over again.

It's beachfront in California, so the worst it gets in the Winter is 35-40 degrees.

You've only driven on the freeway once!?

Man I drove all over the state when I was learning on my Permit. My city is considered a 'suburb' of San Francisco/San Jose, so it's pretty metropolitan. I always have to drive 3-4 hours inland towards the Central Valley to ever buy any truck parts, since trucks are not as common in the city as they are where actually used in the rural areas and farmland.

I drove three hours to pick up my grille guard, five hours to pick up my power door conversion stuff from the rolled red double cab, and six hours to Reno to pick up my new transmission for my swap.

I just like driving. I can drive all day and won't complain - it's especially fun in the Tacoma since my CAI makes it scream and sound like you're going 80 when you're really doing 35.

These are kids who take a ton of AP classes and honors classes, I don't know how they managed to. I'm talking AP Physics, Calculus BC, English, Computer Science, etc etc. Your GPA gets weighed higher when you take AP's and honors classes like that.

I wasn't one of those kids. I only took standard upper division math & science classes, and two years of AP Computer Science. I also far exceeded the credits I needed to graduate - you only needed 270 credits to graduate and I had 307.

I still got rejected by every University of California in the whole damn state besides UC Merced, which is in the middle of nowhere. I chose SF State because I've always liked the city. Getting into a good school is so hard today.

You have to have done something profoundly impactful to the progression of the human race to get into an Ivy league school nowadays.

These people are smart, it's just when it comes to practical and everything tasks it's a mess. People think I'm Einstein when I talk about what I've done on my car, or things that I've fixed, or helping someone with their computer problem. Google, people, Google. I literally Google every issue that I can't solve or something I don't know about. It's not that difficult.

Housing prices in the Bay Area is insane, we are in a huge housing crisis right now. I had a house on the block behind me on the market sell in two weeks after being listed and sold for $300k over asking price. It sold for $1.5 Million. This is a 3,000 square foot 5 Bed/3.5 Bath house built in 2005.

My grandmother's house is beachfront in Alameda. I think she paid $20,000 in 1955 which is equivalent to about $188k today. It's a small property, only single story 3 bedroom/2 bath 1,000 square feet. It was appraised at $1.4 Million last year.

I like to drive too, I’ve put Almost 80k on my truck in the 4 years I’ve had it.

I could probably draw a small circle around where I’ve driven the majority of those miles.

    Just don’t have any freeways
