Found this yesterday morning with the AC on. 6 weeks old, looks like some sort of insulation is my guess.

Dirt dobber nest. What state ? They make these crazy nests out of dirt . They are a hollow tube . We used to run into these thing all the time when people used to go outside. After the invention of the cell phone they just disappeared.

The ass part of the body snatcher alien. You will be replaced.
(pull off the trim and use a vacuum cleaner to clean the duct all the way down as possible on all of them)

    I agree.

You can see where there are spots on other parts of the vent. I say just give her a good cleaning.

I tried grabbing some of it with needle nose pliers and it is hard. We have mud wasp around here in Connecticut and I had 2 long days at work (14hrs) so that may have them time to do it there

I just took done a nest near my front door, it was filled with a dozen different species of spiders. All paralyzed and food for their larva.

How do you remove that vent?

You think there's more wasps in the truck?

It just pulls off. The trim around the radio and the vent next to the instrument cluster come off in one piece just pull easy

They always build nests in my engine compartment and sometimes on the engine itself.
