Grip Preference. Dose any one have a preference of one grip over another? I was considering Magpul MOE K2 or MOE K2+

Personal preference. The K2 is good for a gun you’re going to run collapses with a short length of pull up close to the body. I have the K2, Moe plus and Ergo Grips on guns currently. All are great.

Word to the wise, that cheap Chinese knock-off of the Radian Charging handle is complete garbage...

I typically don't like to rely on Chinese and Hong Kong parts on a weapon system or something built for combat.

Very wise words indeed. As a general rule of thumb the more moving parts, the more failure points. Add Chineseium to the mix and you are asking for trouble. I like BCM charging handles.

The new BCM's are especially good, I am a huge fan of Radian though.

Just got word that the sba3 brace I pre ordered through brownells last week shipped. $97.99 shipped. Lowest I've seen it online so for.

    Bring my build up to:

    Aero stripped upper
    Radian LT charging handle
    Toolcraft NIB BCG
    Rise armament 140 trigger
11.5 faxon carbine barrel (stamped brownells)
    SBA3 brace

Planning on the Aero m4e1 lower, just waiting for it to go on sale. Also shopping for a 12" handguard. Reddit gundeals is killing my bank account.

Got some trigger time today. I finished this build back in april but just barely got it sighted in today. Smallest group I got was 1.75 in at 100 yards. It's not broken in yet but I think it's me who needs more breaking in than the rifle.

My son and I decided to start into the world of AR15 builds by assembling a rifle kit. Palmetto State Armory has their M4 Carbine kits on sale for $299 this week so we both ordered one. Hope to receive it next week and assemble it next weekend. Although they also have lowers on sale, I'm going to go to a local shop and pick one up - probably a Spike's Unmarked stripped lower. I've also ordered a Magpul flip-up rear sight and a different front hand guard.

Anyone have any experience with PSA kits/rifles? The reviews are generally good on their site but I recognize they are not among the higher quality manufacturers. But, as a first try at putting one together, I figured going with something at under $500 was worth the investment.
