What kind of difference did it make to the sound quality and output? Are you still using the stock speakers? And where did you mount the amp? Thanks!

I saw somewhere on here many posts back somebody had mounted it on the backside of the armrest console but on the inside (if that makes sense) then drilled a hole and mounted the connector for the mic on the inside of the console. The only thing visible was the mic and it could be disconnected and stowed behind the seat.

One of the best mods I've done to my truck yet. Much improved shifting.

Mounted the James Baroud, built a drawer, mounted the fridge slide. Almost completely done with transferring the 2nd gen parts to the 3rd gen. Its also at the dealer getting the transmission evaluated. Experiencing grinding shifting from 2nd to 3rd in 4lo.

    Suggestions?

    Seems to be the weld.

I've kept it clean and protected during the winter, but it seems inevitable.

I know they say not to do the whole tailgate because of the added weight and the possibility of ruining the slow lowering portion of the tailgate, but I couldn’t just do half the job and leave it. It would have bothered me. So I ended up doing the whole tailgate and the added weight isn’t really that bad. It still lowers slowly, but I’m sure over time I will be able to notice a difference. I guess I will just have to help assist the tailgate so that it doesn’t get ruined. However, it was well worth it. I first did just the section around the tailgate lock. Although I could tell a difference, it wasn’t as quiet as I was hoping for it to be. Now, it is perfect. It has a bit of sound still, but nowhere close to how loud it was in the beginning. It’s so nice. I wish I took a video of the before and after. However, when you are standing by the Driver’s Door or the Passenger’s Door and you use the Smart Handle to Lock or Unlock the truck, you cannot here the tailgate over the regular locking and unlocking system anymore. It blends in right with everything else. Here is a video of me standing right next to the tailgate when I unlock and lock the tailgate.

    Sweet gear.

I like the charger cord & the adaptor port.

I hear ya on the need for readers. I get caught every time my wife and I go out somewhere to eat. Menu's kill me.

I've been getting great use out of the magnifier app on my iPhone 7+, though. You simply triple tap the home button and the reading app pops up immediately....zooms with ease. Outstanding feature. You simply have to go into settings to enable it.....then you only need to triple tap to open it.

My dealer ordered them for me, you can get them off of their website, but’s it’s more expensive. I payed $310 for front and rear I think off of their website it’s like $400 something
They’re made to custom fit as well so they make them when you order them
