    I was suffering from a little table envy that last camping trip, so I decided I need to get one. I like reusing stuff. Had an old card table with a jacked up top. Decided to put a new top on it.

    It's a 34x34 card table I've had since I worked at Home Express, roughly '95-'97. It's about 28" high, but don't worry; I got you a booster seat.

    You weld them to build them, drill, grind and air hammer the old ones out, weld the new ones in. The fitment is a pita, it's so tight I sat with a dremel for a few hours just cleaning the surface

    Hahaha I did the same thing two weeks ago

    I used a piece of 1/4" ply I had sitting out in my yard, so the top is a little weathered. Used some thin aluminum angle and 1/4" aluminum rivets to secure. Slapped on a couple coats of "medium walnut" Danish oil. Really brought out all the scratches left by Chance and Jelly.

    Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
    Quick question - the skids I ordered are not painted. If I am going to rattle can them, do I need to get primer? Or can I just spray the paint on? Anyone recommend anything good?
