This school year's semester is over with (for those of us who are still in school) and summer is coming soon. I've missed all of the Ocotillo trips since I've had my truck so far, so I wanted to try to organize one.

I'm not sure when exactly this would be, that is totally open right now. iamrayzian is setting up at beach meet for sometime this summer(http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/so...beach-bbq-x-basketball-x-beer-meet-great.html), so I wouldn't want to to it too close to that day, whenever everybody decides on it.

Would anybody else be interested in going?

Post a weekend that would work for you (dont forget about the beach meet!)
If anybody has any ideas, or wants to try to help set it up, feel free to let me know.

Ahhhhh don't listen to the old man! "Horrible & Down Right Dangerous" is my middle name :D. I say we no it but do it smart. Trucks should all be properly PMed (jarhead term for "preventnative maintinence") and have some sort of safety, survival, and recovery gear. I'm no expert in the matter I'm just saying! Resorting back to my old deployment day in the hot desert sands and sun and what we did and have in our trucks.

Thats why we get a pool or go to one. I've heard that 3 places out there have pools. Hang out during the day, ride and run at night?

Exactly. Every time I go I usually over pack. If we get enough people out there, I'm sure well have all the supplies. I can bring plenty of water, an ez up, tents, tables, chairs, etc. I don't have any safety/survival/recovery gear though. I do have a couple ropes, not tow ropes though.

Im so down to go, just went there last weekend and it was really nice. It would be sweet to do some sort of night trip to avoid the heat, like get out there around 4 pm do some afternoon runs spend the night then do some morning runs.

What up Doug! Got a lot of my range of motion back, now its strength and getting this nerve to stop making my bicep feel on fire. I feel weird at the gym on the MCRD lifting 3-4lb weights and doing 10-20lb tricep work outs
