Im looking for some help on repairing a scratch on the black textured part of my dash. Not sure if there’s a thread on this but could use some help. I was a dub and put some aluminum gutters through my back window and slid them up on to the dash and they put a few scratches in it. It’s driving me nuts now to the point I considered replacing the dash! I know a little over board it is just a truck but still would like to repair it or blend it if possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Got one on my glove box front. I just quit caring about. Get a dash cover and you’ll be over it

Try armor all on the whole dash, then rub/massage extra hard those areas. Once they “moisturize” it should blend in. Even a little olive oil on it, then armor all the whole dash to blend the “wet” look in would be what I do first. I’ve had this happen to me too and I’m OCD...they have dash repair kits online but it’s a little too involved for my liking and you have to match the color just right, the problem is they are generic colors, can't buy it based on 2017 Tacoma yada yada yada...

I’ve got a pretty deep on on my passenger side door from pulling the seat out to install the Kicker Hideaway. Totally worth it.

No no no...use the juice of one freshly squeezed lime. Much better flavor.

I just looked up the hair dryer technique on you tube and came up with a heat gun video that showed it working like magic scratches like mine gone by just heating them up anyone ever do this to a taco dash?

Go for it. At this point nothing to loose as long as you have an open mind about getting a new dash.

Don't waste your time with ArmorAll. I have yet to find or know of a product that will fix plastic/vinyl scratches back to factory new.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u3AOq_oAbA4&t=272s This is the video I watched I mean as long as you keep the heat moving it seems fine I’m just wondering if anyone has done this on a taco dash as I’m not sure I want to be the ginnie pig although I’m the one with the scratch

3 inches, Ray10s, 34s, OVTuning, and driver mod for now.
I use a heat gun on our crap interior every few months to blend anything I can find scuff or scratch wise.
